The Abacus was Invented in 2400 BC in Babylonia. It was an aid for counting and was used to make calculations. There was no predecessor to it. It was mainly used in Europe during the middle ages and some countries are still using it to this day. It was invented by Tim Crammer. Mainly used by Merchants, traders and clerks. Invented by Chinese.
